WISHING
TO LEAVE SCHOOL DURING THE DAY
You must
have a contact the school to authorise permission to leave at a
certain time. You
must go to the office to collect your Leave Pass before leaving school grounds.
WHEN
YOU ARE NOT WEARING CORRECT SCHOOL UNIFORM
Report to
the Wellbeing Centre/Student services BEFORE school 8:30am-8:45am, preferably, with a note of
explanation from your parent/guardian. Provided the alternative clothing is
suitable, permission for the day will be approved. If you are wearing
inappropriate alternatives you will be issued with a uniform exchange. No denim.
YOU
HAVE LOST PROPERTY
Check in
the lost property in Wellbeing/Student Services.
YOU
REQUIRE USE OF THE AMENITIES BLOCK IN CLASS TIME
Inform your
teacher. They will sign in the appropriate space in your diary. Where a lesson
leads ontoa break,
the student should expect to stay behind for the time equivalent to that spent
outside of the room. NOTE: Year 7 – B block toilets.
YOU
REQUIRE A DRINK DURING CLASS TIME
You are
permitted/encouraged to bring bottled WATER to each class. The teacher has the
right to determine where the bottles need to be left in each room.
WISHING
TO SEE GUIDANCE OFFICER/SCHOOL NURSE/ YSC/ CHAPLAIN
Student
must make an appointment. A date and time will be given to you and a permission
slip which must be signed by the teacher whose lesson you will miss. For the School
Nurse make an appointment at the office. For the Guidance Officer make an
appointment at the desk outside the Guidance officer’s room. For the Guidence Officer/Chaplain please fill in a meeting request form at the Wellbeing/Student services office.
ACCIDENT
OR ILLNESS
In class,
inform your teacher who will arrange for the necessary attention. Outside the
class time you are to report to the office, or in serious cases, have someone
notify the office immediately. Parents/guardians will usually be contacted and
asked to collect you.
INCAPACITATED
AND UNABLE TO LINE UP ON BUS PARADE
Report to
the teacher Aide on Bus Parade, line up near the gate for early entry to buses. A note
needs to be presented to the office.
