The study of Dance provides opportunities for students to learn and engage with practical skills related to dance and performance. Students will be introduced to, and will build upon dance and performance skills in order to use them during live performance. The Certificate course sin dance will provide participants with the knowledge and skills to demonstrate a range of technical skills in a group dance performance.
PATHWAYS
A course of study in Certificate II in Dance will allow learners to develop basic technical skills and knowledge to prepare for work in the live performance industry and/or follow a pathway and/or follow a path of further tertiary study at a higher level. Continuing studies could include: Certificate III, Certificate IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma courses related to the entertainment industry.
