The Certificate III in Design Fundamentals provides opportunities for students to learn and engage with practical skills related to Graphic and Visual layout and design.
Students will be introduced to, and will build upon digital computing skills and programs in order to understand and utilise them to create works/pitches. Special focus will come in the investigation of existing work/designers as well as client liaison and specifications, in order to create a rounded and real-world learning experience.
PATHWAYS
Upon successful completion of Certificate III in Design Fundamentals, students will be prepared to undertake further studies into a variety of Art, Design and Visual fields. Of these, very obvious examples would include studies into Graphic Design, Digital Design, and Print and Prepress.
