Qualifications offered by an external Provider: Connect 'n' Grow
This course has been designed to include projects that prepare students for a range of tasks they will perform when they enter into a health and/or community services career, including: health check, health promotions, health administration, childcare and entry pathways for workers who provide the first point of contact and assist individuals in meeting their needs. The registered training organisation supporting the delivery of this course is Connect 'n' Grow.
  • HLT23215 Certificate II in Health Support Services
  • CHC22015 Certificate II in Community Services
The Certificate II in Health Support Services will equip you to work with people from diverse backgrounds, recognise health body systems, respond to behaviours of concern, and transport patients. Our highly-experienced industry professionals will guide you every step of the way to ensure your transition into the health sector is a success.
Successful completion of this course will qualify you to work in an assistance role in a health care facility as a ward assistant, orderly, food services assistant or laundry services worker. It will also give you the foundation skills you need to undertake further study in the industry.
The Certificate II in Community Services is entry-level qualification and will teach students how to listen to and understand people's problems, background and circumstances, and to work with them on the areas they are struggling with. You will also learn to help clients by setting them up with support systems and networks.

Completion of this course will give a job ready qualification with the possibility of employment when completed the courses. These courses may be used to gain entry into further courses such as Certificate III in Childcare or other Allied Health.
